The EU AI Act gets serious on August 2: What's changing?

Starting August 2, the EU AI Act requires AI model providers to submit detailed information upon request, imposes strict compliance requirements on high-risk AI systems, mandates transparency labels for AI interactions, and introduces AI sandbox testing for member states. Existing AI systems have until December 2 to comply, with further regulations phased in through 2030.
