Infleqtion has achieved 30 entangled logical qubits on its Sqale quantum computer, marking a key milestone on its roadmap to 100 logical qubits by 2028 and 1,000 by 2030. This breakthrough uses AI-assisted co-design of hardware and software to halve the physical gates needed for logical operations, validating the robustness of their neutral-atom quantum architecture for commercial quantum computing applications.
This Wire brief sits within Fusion42's coverage of Quantum Computing, and 4 sources have reported it between 24 Sep 2026 and 29 Sep 2026.
◆ ◆ The Wire takeaway
Quantum computing just hit a practical milestone with 30 entangled logical qubits. If you build quantum applications or tools, you need to start integrating with neutral-atom platforms now as they move rapidly past early-stage fragility toward commercial scale.
