The Clop cybercrime group exploited a zero-day vulnerability in PTC’s Windchill and FlexPLM software to steal data from numerous organisations, primarily in manufacturing, aerospace, and automotive sectors. The campaign used a custom-built web shell enabling rapid, undetectable data theft, with long-lasting impacts and a large victim set including major public companies.
