Yara inaugurates pioneering Sluiskil carbon capture project

Yara has inaugurated the Sluiskil carbon capture and storage plant in the Netherlands, Europe's largest ammonia and fertiliser plant with capacity to capture and liquefy up to 800,000 tonnes of CO2 annually. The captured CO2 will be transported to Norway for permanent storage under the seabed, supporting industrial decarbonisation over 15 years.
