Yemen's government forces have launched Operation Dawn of Yemen to recapture territory from the Iran-backed Houthi militia, including controlling the strategic Bab al-Mandeb strait and starting an offensive on the Houthi-held capital, Sanaa.

◆ ◆ The Wire takeaway

You face a shifting security environment as Yemeni government forces recapture Bab al-Mandeb and press into Sanaa, reopening a key trade chokepoint and destabilising Houthi control. Prepare for disrupted supply chains and new regional access routes as military control changes hands.
