Privacy advocacy group Noyb has filed a GDPR complaint against the online dictionary dict.cc with the Austrian data protection authority. The complaint alleges the website's cookie consent interface is intentionally deceptive by making it significantly easier to accept advertising cookies than to reject them.

◆ The Wire takeaway

A one-click 'reject all' is now the standard for your cookie banner. If accepting cookies is easier than rejecting them on your European-facing site, your consent design is a direct target for GDPR enforcement.
