Upstage has released Solar Open2, a 250B-parameter open-weight LLM designed for enterprise AI agents, featuring a custom simulation environment (Officeverse) for task training and a mixture-of-experts architecture that activates only 15B parameters during inference. The model handles 1M-token contexts and outperforms comparable models on code generation benchmarks.
