New Benchmark, QuSquare, Tests Near-term Quantum Devices

Researchers at the University of the Basque Country and BCAM developed QuSquare, a new benchmarking suite designed to evaluate the performance of pre-fault-tolerant quantum devices through system- and application-level tests. QuSquare aims to provide fair, reproducible, and scalable assessments to guide development and standardize metrics across diverse quantum hardware.
